6 Interesting YouTube Channels

So, I have a teeny tiny YouTube addiction. I cannot tell you the number of hours I've wasted viewing video after video. But some of them are so interesting and/or entertaining, it's hard for me to stop! Here are six of the most interesting and/or fun YouTube channels I've found:

1. Kevonstage

He's a comedian who offers comical commentary on everything from popular Instagram photos to YouTube videos. He also creates his own videos and is the creator of Cartoon Scandal. Check him out!!

2. The Playmakers

Three comedians, including Kevonstage, who post parodies and just plain random fun, often church-related. 

3. Drew Disaster

I just love her style. I don't know why. I just do :)

4. Gabe & Babe TV

Just a sweet couple sharing their life. I love watching their family vlogs :)

5. grizzlypeak

He's a good ol' boy who likes to explore abandoned cabins and I like to watch him while he explores them.

6. relaxshacksDOTcom

I love watching the tours of these tiny houses!! I mean I really love it! These are my dream houses!!

Artist of the Week - Kerry Thomas

2NDSTREET: Tell us about you. Where are you from? Where are you now?

KERRY THOMAS: I'm Kerry Thomas. Singer. Songwriter. Guitarist. Born in Baton Rouge, LA. I've moved around a lot though, hard to pinpoint my hometown lol. I currently reside in Jackson, MS. I've been here for a while. The South has always been my home.

2ND STREET:  In one word, describe your music.

KERRY THOMAS: Real.

2ND STREET: What inspires you?

KERRY THOMAS: I'm inspired by the people around me. The different situations we go through, especially on the topic of Love and Relationships. I love to write about those things. I'm also inspired by other artists in music. I love listening to others to see where their stories lead them as well as the techniques they use vocally to achieve the execution of their message through the music.

2ND STREET: Complete this sentence: Everyone says I sound like ________.

KERRY THOMAS: Musiq Soulchild. I want them to say, "Kerry, you sound like Kerry." lol

2ND STREET: What's your favorite song? Why?

KERRY THOMAS: This is the hardest question EVER. So many to name. ONE of my favorite songs right now is "Do You" by Miguel. The lead guitar is sick. Just an amazing song.  

2ND STREET: What would you name the soundtrack of your life?

KERRY THOMAS: The Eye of the Storm. Most definitely.

2ND STREET: What's the best advice anyone has ever given you?

KERRY THOMAS: A wise man once told me to never pass up a good thing. I keep that in my mind everyday.

2ND STREET: Tell us about your current projects. 

KERRY THOMAS: My debut album, Eye of the Storm, is available now on iTunes and Amazon. I have free music available at www.soundcloud.com/kerrythomasmusic. I'm currently writing and collaborating with producers to work on my next project. I also travel and perform with a band!

CHILLFEEL: Many artists inspire us, each band member likes different kinds of music and together its a combination of a lot of bands including : Coldplay, The XX, Kings of Leon,The Apache Relay, and many more.

CHILLFEEL: It's like asking who do you like more, your mom or your dad.

LADII COAKALEAF: I am inspired by my childhood dream of becoming a rap artist, my family, and life experiences.

LADII COAKALEAF Tupac Shakur is my favorite hands down because I think he was a very inspirational artist who wrote from real life experiences a lot like me.

BLACKSHIRE:  We have lots of favorite artists but if we had to choose 1, collectively it would be Michael Jackson. Because of his ability to articulate his message of song musically and visually to a diverse audience.

REPUNZA: I am a singer songwriter,an indie artist originally from Pine Bluff AR, currently been Living in Athens. GA going on 11 years!!

REPUNZA: Soulful


2ND STREET:  Who’s your favorite artist living or passed on? What is it that you love about him/her?

REPUNZA: SADE...I love her smooth lyrics, and her delivery of song, and I have just always been captivated by her sound!


2ND STREET:  Tell us about your current project.

REPUNZA: I am currently working on a EP for 2013, it has been in the making for a while, I think my fans will see a lot of growth from me in this new project!!
