5 Best Season 3 #Scandal Moments... So Far

Here's my countdown of the 5 best and/or most shocking Scandal moments that season 3 has given us so far. Check them out and see if any of them made your list!

5. She's alive!!!

Who else nearly fell out when Mama Pope rolled over in that military prison bed????

4. He's the hell AND the high water!

Daddy Pope has had some wonderful lines this season, and that one was one of my favorites. The scene where he made Olivia drop her eyes in shame? Genius! Joe Morton deserves a freakin' Emmy and a Golden Globe!

3. BOY!!!

Another stand-out scene with Papa Pope. Man! He read Fitz like yesterday's newspaper!!

2. He did what to Quinn???!!!

That Huck/Quinn torture scene was almost too much! In that scene we saw the depth of Huck's loyalty to Olivia and the true nature of the beast that resides inside of him... and we still love him.

1. Mama's a psycho killer!!

Okay, okay, I knew something was not right with Mama Pope when she went all Hannibal Lecter on herself in the prison cell. And my hackles raised a little bit more when she killed the poor prison doctor, but by the end of the winter finale, she proved to be a full-on psycho. Can't wait to see what my favorite show has in store for me next!!

What's on your list? Comment below and let me know!

I'm Obsessed With... Real Genius!

I grew up in the 80's--a time when movies and music were arguable at their best and worst at the same time. There is a long list of movies and songs that make up the fabric of my childhood, and Real Genius is one of them. This is one of my all-time favorite movies with a wonderful soundtrack! Have you seen it? If not, you're missing out on all of the angst and fun that made 80's movies so awesome!!

Here's one of my favorite songs from the movie. Enjoy!!

I'm Obsessed With... Arnel Pineda's Voice!

I'll be the first to admit that I have more than my fair share of issues. One of which is OCD. Yep, it's the truth. And the "O" part acts up quite a bit.

When I find something I really like, I have to know everything about it. I research it and watch all of the YouTube videos about it and read all of the articles. And then I move on to another obsession. Right now, I can't get enough of Arnel Pineda's voice. Have you heard him?

See! How awesome is he??????

6 Guilty Pleasures

guilt·y pleas·ure
noun
  1. 1.
something, such as a movie, television program, or piece of music, that one enjoys despite feeling that it is not generally held in high regard.

We all have them. Here are a few of mine. Who knows, maybe we have some in common :)))

    1. Keeping Up With The Kardashians

What can I say? I love it! It's one of the few reality shows I watch and I try not to ever miss it.Yes, I'm a Kardashian fan. Yes, I'm a Kim Kardashian fan, too. Love watching this family interact and act out. So sue me!

    2. Fashion Police on E!

I'm sorry. I know Joan Rivers is mean, but she's also hilarious! She cracks me up with her zingers and quips. Love this show!

    3. Bruno Mars

He's a musical genius. Few people will deny that, His tunes are catchy. His voice is awesome. But if you sit and really pay attention to some of his lyrics, they just might make you blush. Don't believe me? Check out "Gorilla." ***Warning - Explicit Lyrics***

    4. Vine Videos on YouTube

Inappropriate, tasteless, silly, dumb, crazy, and hilarious. But don't take my word for it. Check them out for yourself!

    5. Cartoon Scandal

Are you a Scandal fan? Doesn't even matter. I think anyone and everyone will find these cartoons absolutely gut-busting!! Check them out!!

    6. Anime!!

Yeah, I'm a grown woman. Whatever, whatever. Ever watched Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood? Exactly!

That's all I can think of right now. Later!

Artist of the Week - Red Sirens

Red Sirens

2ND STREET: Tell us about you.
RED SIRENS: My name is Araceli Rodriguez. My artist name is Red Sirens. I'm Mexican, was raised in the US since the age of 5. Where I now reside.

2ND STREET: In one word, describe your art.
RED SIRENS: RAW

2ND STREET: What inspires you?
RED SIRENS: I find inspiration in my surroundings, I also try to incorporate my culture into my work because I believe that art should have a soul. I do not like lazy art and so for me a piece of work can be a thing of intense beauty and work. One piece of work for me to finish and compose can be as simple as giving, breathing life into a canvas so it can be a slow process. When I have a commissioned piece to make I work hard in making it as worthy and as accurate as possible.

2ND STREET: Who is your favorite artist living or passed on?
RED SIRENS: Frida Kahlo is my favorite artist.

2ND STREET: Do you ever get “Artist’s block?” If so, how do you get over it?
RED SIRENS:Yes I often loose inspiration. sometimes it can last for years. I had artist block one time for as long as two years, but art runs in my veins and I always look to shelter myself back under it's warmth.

I don't know what happens, it's like waking up one morning and yearning for the right cup of coffee.I can't quite tell you how it is I get over it, it just happens.

2ND STREET: How long does it take for you to complete a piece?
RED SIRENS: That depends on the piece, If it s a commissioned one, I place myself on a strict calender regime. If it's a piece that is mine. -well, let tell you.... I still have a piece in my studio that I have been working on for about 10 years. I work on it a little. and I leave it and then two years later I find something I want to add to it. It is my one piece that I have yet to complete.

2ND STREET: Tell us about your current projects.
RED SIRENS: I currently in the process of networking and promoting. I often get a commissions piece, here and there but I have also been busy working and stretching out into other mediums. I design costume Jewelry.
